Request the permanent deletion of your Moja Ride account and associated personal data.
At Moja Ride, we respect your privacy and provide complete transparency regarding your personal data. Under applicable data protection regulations and mobile marketplace guidelines, you have the right to request the permanent deletion of your account and associated personal information.
What Data is Deleted Immediately
When your deletion request is processed, the following information is permanently erased or anonymized:
- Account credentials, passwords, active sessions, and multi-factor authentication methods
- Personal identity details including full name, email address, phone number, and avatar image
- Saved passenger companion profiles, booking preferences, and contact directories
- Marketing preferences and notification subscriptions
Statutory Retention Notice
Statutory accounting and tax compliance
Under commercial, transport, and taxation laws of Côte d'Ivoire (OHADA Uniform Act and Code Général des Impôts), historical passenger ticket sales, electronic fiscal receipts, and payment ledger entries must be retained for audit purposes. These statutory records are detached from your personal identity and permanently anonymized.
How to Delete Your Account
Option 1: Inside the Moja Ride Traveler Mobile App
Open the Moja Ride mobile app on your Android or iOS device
Navigate to Settings from the bottom navigation bar
Scroll to the bottom to the Danger Zone section and tap 'Delete Account'
Confirm your choice. Your account and personal details will be anonymized immediately and you will be signed out
The in-app deletion process takes effect immediately with zero waiting periods.
